Parenting
Taking employees’ parenting into consideration and fostering a work environment in which parent-employees are able to find a work-life balance is very important for AXA.
All AXA employees across the world are covered by the global parental policy and receive a minimum of 16 weeks for the primary parent and 8 weeks for the co-parent. The “We Care” program allows to support employees across different stages of their lives. Every employee who is receiving and recovering from in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment or who experience pregnancy loss is entitled to leave: 5 days fully paid leave for the employee and 2 days for spouses and partners, 16 weeks fully paid leave for employees who experience a “still birth”.

Health & wellbeing
At AXA, we strive to provide a comprehensive and competitive health and well-being offering for all our employees worldwide. We have therefore implemented global programs available for all our employees:
Healthy You program with in-person medical check-up every 4 years for employees above 40 years old, a digital medical check-up for all employees every 2 years, a flu vaccination campaign, health days with different conferences on health topics, Employee Assistance Program, Telemedicine, minimum coverage of 75% of medical expenses in case of cancer as well as psychological support and a booklet describing all services and benefits available, a Second Medical Opinion and flexible working arrangements and office support equipment in case of menstrual health conditions, menopause or andropause.
Invest in You program dedicated to your financial education and well-being. This program is rolled out with a dedicated week leading to the organization of different initiatives to help you learn to better manage your finances and make the most of the opportunities we have at AXA.
“We Care’’ is a holistic program which provides you with a wide range of support across different life stages, parenting and caring benefits are described in the corresponding sections. “We Care” also supports employees when they experience domestic/intra-familial violence or sexual violence by providing access to psychological support, specialist support services, flexible working arrangements and five days of fully paid leave.

Our compensation structure at AXA is aligned to the company’s immediate and long-term vision. The cash compensation comprising the fixed salary and variable compensation may be supplemented by a deferred element in the form of AXA shares recognizing the importance of aligning remuneration over long-term value creation.

Retirement
Preparing for retirement is a long-term journey. We are committed to providing you with pension plans as part of your Total Rewards package in geographies where such plans are consistent with prevailing market practices.
The specifics of our pension plans are managed at local level and differ between countries, as mandatory pension plans can vary. For Defined Contribution plans, contributions are invested in accordance with ESG principles and Group responsible investment policy. We also strive to empower you to take control of your retirement savings by providing you with the information and tools you need to make informed decisions about your pension plans.

Caregivers
Every employee is entitled to caregiver leave to care for an immediate family member who needs eldercare or care due to a serious health condition or disability. A caregiver is entitled to 5 days fully paid leave per calendar year. In addition to caregiver leave, employees are to be supported through flexible working arrangements in line with our Smart Working policy and any other locally relevant policies and practices.
